I really enjoy this theme you

Roma children were children who played anywhere, on the street, at home, in a garden ... inside, outside, wherever! Like us well when we were childhood to, had all games! Although it is clear, their toys, they were not as advanced as our technology. They played with dice, board games, dry cleaners ball, doll ... Now I'll get into some examples to see what childhood was like most kids Romans.
Children, like us since childhood, had toys and games suitable for the age that it was fitting since they were babies had some joguineta, among them were the crepundia, or sistrum
Sistrum: I had a horseshoe up and usually bore the figure of a bird or cat. From one end to the walls of the "horseshoe" had rods with cymbals, if hectic sounded. You could say that was the old rattle.
Crepundia: Called any small toy like a rattle, a doll, a figurine, similar to what you can imagine having a child today. These were often tied with a string, so they took the babies, played with them and they sounded. Parents are also tied to the neck of their children in the form of amulet or ornament.
Musca Aenea: It was a game in which they had to play more than 3 children so it was fun. One of them is the eyes are covered, and had to catch the other children understand me shouting "I poop fly bronze" and the other responded, "You feel a but not atraparàs." It was a style "Marco Polo" today.
Alea: This is a game in which we still play. It's throwing a pair of dice, and who takes the highest number wins. When you win in this game, also called the famous phrase in Julius dry cleaners Caesar Alea iacta east.
Terni lapilli: This game, like all others, dry cleaners has a similarity with ours. This is our "Tic Tac Toe", a game in which you have three tabs and try to put them online on the board without the opponent stopping dry cleaners you. The difference is that with ours, is that the board was square dry cleaners rather than round.
Pupa: Pupa A toy every girl was a Roman had a doll! Not pupae were all equal, also evolved with time. When a Roman girl already married, gave his pupa Venus as a sign of left Right arrow childhood.
Not all girls were the same, there were stone, ivory, wood, everything depends on the time and degree of social girl. There were articulated, and there was not. The Romans were not like dolls that look like our babies, their seemed really Donetes.
It is very funny! I find it amazing that we have been playing with the same things as them, only the names changed. I think you made a very good input based on the childhood! Very good post! December 13, 2012 14:47
He had never heard talk about Roman games, the first time! The die photo is nearly identical to ours, which God's dry cleaners grace is really interesting to see how cosesm we like it or not, continue always the same. good post! December 15, 2012 20:33
Very good entry Lucia. I loved it! Regarding this issue, I believe that society has changed. Nowadays kids do not play much these things because of the invasion of technology! What were those memories .. I would come back in time to relive dry cleaners again! I think kids today are more locked into their houses Outdoors playing .. And more children from the cities! The technology part is good, but not so much on one side. However, traditional games always are. In general, all the games are very similar dry cleaners to our present. I was surprised dry cleaners at the Terni lapilli, as was our "Tic Tac Toe" but the board was round. And what had dolls! It makes me so much grace to give his "pupa" Venus showing they leave behind their childhood. In conclusion, dry cleaners very good entry Lucia :)! Interestingly, the Roman children played the same as us. And in the end, children have always been the same, we have not changed much! December 16, 2012 21:30
I really enjoy this theme you've chosen to make the entry, I think it is a very interesting to know what the ancient Roman children amused during childhood. I was surprised to see the pictures that have incorporated the similarities between many of the toys that used them and we use. For example, the game of heads or tails, but we do not do it for a game, but rather dry cleaners to decide who will start shooting for another game. I also liked seeing the three in a row, did not know that in Roman times there was already dry cleaners this
