Fernando Botero, one of my absolute favorite artists from the Spanish speaking world, have interpreted the torture at Abu Ghraib prison. Tomorrow tiaras he gives a swipe at the U.S. armed forces when the show starts in Washington. Chueca is Madrid's most lively district. During the 90s, chose Spain's gay community out of which the dangerous old quarter to "their" inoficiella area. Since then, crime has disappeared and the city's best restaurants, nightclubs and shops found here, and Spain's loveliest personalities, of course! We fell head over heels for the lovely atmosphere and picturesque in this neighborhood, located a few steps from Gran Via, right in the center of Madrid.
