Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde book I got called. kill two birds with one stone, or two at the same time the challenge was met. First of all, it is a challenge to fit the sci-fi category of "mad scientist", and secondly I have been going to this kind of informal mini-challenge a bit like the background for some time, namely Otava Midnight Library series of horror classics reading. Lukukokemustani was diluted from the beginning maybe it's that I knew the Scottish Robert Louis Stevenson's book based on an idea from before, although this figure was the very first time. (After all, the Jekyll and Hyde of good and evil käsitteinäkin le bain formed a classic in its own right!) Kind and well-mannered scientist, Dr. Jekyll, doing laboratory experiments and raises eyebrows ystävissään le bain fraternizing with the evil Mr. Hyde, who sow terror in the streets of London. I was expecting for some reason that would tell the story of Jekyll themselves, but, following the events from the outside. Riddle was solved piece by piece, depending le bain on how one of Dr Jekyll's friends, a lawyer Mr. Utterson began to investigate the mystery. Structure of the book was not right in my mind. At the end of the report Jekyll was a little heavy and downright means of a decision to read. It annoyed that the first book was given information to the reader rather leisurely pace and at the end, then poured all at once in the neck. The book's main pointin (evil vs. the goodness of the human body) treatment suffered due to the above-mentioned matter a bit. Personally, I would have had more of it if the whole story had been told from the perspective of Jekyll. It could have been a very interesting psychological suspense story. Now, the reading experience was a very wishy-washy and free of surprises. Too bad, since that interesting le bain goodness / evil-theme would have been able to get so much more out of it. I would have expected on the length of the "bigger" story, because now the book was disappointingly short. le bain Review of these old classics le bain are always somehow frustrating because as a rule, I do not have them and they are felt to have been already heavily up the legs. At the same time, however, they are also bound to respect, as these books have been, however, a kind of tienluojia own time. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde is the way I read up on this kind of horror classics to the most contemporary feeling, and it is not in the same way in 1800's "rigidity" such as Dracula or Frankenstein is in some places. Showing page 24: Enough Mr. Uttersonin apartment nearby the church bells struck six times, and he still only reflect on their problem. Until now, it had been touched only by his sides in an intellectual, but now it was plucked view, or rather chained to his imagination. While lying sleepless night and the armored room in the darkness le bain slid Mr. Enfield report over the eyes of his soul illuminated picture recording. He saw the sleeping city of immense lamp of the sea, quickly le bain walking through the male figure, a doctor le bain running girl's trust. Then - the collision, and that the human devil girl stomped his feet and continued walking, ignoring the cries.
