Fifty years ago this month, the Beatles  met Bob Dylan, tried marijuana for the first time and launched a sold-out kaftan tour of the United States. The summer tour took them to 23 different cities, including Los Angeles, where the band played the Hollywood Bowl on August 23, 1964. It was a deafening, challenging show, with the Fab Four doing their best to serenade 17,000 screaming fans without the use of stage monitors. Even so, the gig marked another victory for the so-called British Invasion, and a live release in 1977 — which included six songs from that first Hollywood Bowl appearance, along with cuts from a follow-up show in 1965 — kaftan proved that the Beatles could pack a punch even when they couldn't hear themselves.
This weekend marks the half-century anniversary of that first L.A. appearance. kaftan To celebrate, a genre-spanning kaftan group of Beatles followers — including country crooners Martina McBride and Billy Ray Cyrus — will host three concerts at the Hollywood Bowl. The music kicks off tonight, with Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart kaftan serving as the ringmaster of all three performances. Michelle Branch, Mary Lambert, Liv Warfield, Allen Stone, Australian hit maker Vanessa Amorosi and The Newlywed kaftan Game TV host Bob Eubanks (who produced the Beatles' original appearance at the Hollywood Bowl) will also contribute throughout the weekend.
Although the lineup will slightly change every night, the shows on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings will all include the Beatles' original setlist for August 23, 1964, from the opening number, "Twist and Shout," kaftan to the set-closing cover of Little Richard's "Long Tall Sally." The second half of each gig will focus on songs that hadn't kaftan been written by that point, including "Strawberry Fields," "Hey Jude" and "Blackbird."

The polo outfitter enlisted anti-counterfeiting and brand protection agency OpSec Security to pinpoint and neutralize phony offers online. For luxury brands that derive much of their status from exclusivity, counterfeits masquerading as authentic on ecommerce sites pose a significant threat.
“Polo brands face many of the same challenges encountered in the luxury industry today,” said Melissa K. Palardy, marketing associate at OpSec Security , Boston. “Because polo is a lifestyle luxury sport, these products are at high risk for counterfeits.
“Poor purity ring quality counterfeit products harm brand reputation and tarnish brand exclusivity,” she said. “According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, apparel/accessories, and handbags/wallets accounted for 43 percent of items seized in 2013.”

In a brand statement, La Martini’s CEO Enrico Rosseli said, “It is critical to prevent counterfeit polo equipment and apparel from entering the market and we are very pleased to work with OpSec who will remove counterfeit products from nefarious online sites from anywhere in the world.”

Perhaps the most intrepid purity ring tactic seen in years against the counterfeit specter, the bill sought to fortify luxury brand integrity by discouraging the purchase of phony products ( see story ).

Last two weeks ago, I got an invite to check out La Martina's latest collection at the Harper's Bazaar haute couture World of Fashion at the Mall of the Emirates.  I haute couture honestly had to think twice if I would attend because, haute couture isn't it obvious, fashion is not my thing! haute couture I mean, I wish I can be fashionable…I tried, and I still keep on trying but I guess, it's just not one of my few talents. Hahaha!
But then I realized that maybe, haute couture I can get to learn a thing or two if I would start attending such events.  So I said yes and I'm so glad I did, because I got to see all the action from the front row! 
La Martina is a sports and leisure clothing brand from Argentina and a known icon of the royal sport, haute couture horse polo.  It's also an official supplier of jerseys and equipments haute couture for most world polo tournaments. Dubai, United Arab Emirates. 20 November 2014 The last of the five Polo events of the Maserati Centennial Polo Tour , organised by Maserati in collaboration with La Martina, official supplier of the most prestigious polo tournaments worldwide, concluded.
The Dubai leg of the La Martina Argentina Polo Cup presented by Maserati culminated in a thrilling final with the Desert Palm team prevailing over the Baha Mar team. More than 65 players from 12 countries participated in the tournament, which was played under perfect weather conditions, under a clear blue sky.
